RADA Unearthed will launch a compilation album featuring a bevy of South African Change-Agents and talent at the end of August
The contemporary pop album will feature new hit singles from both unknown and established artists, including the likes of Prime Circle. The team will showcase seven of these artists at a prestige event on Thursday, 11 August 2016.
RADA, in all their endeavours, strive to effect change.
An acronym for rape, alcohol, drug and abuse, RADA aims to combat these addictions and atrocities by building comprehensive renewal centres worldwide. While involved in various CSI projects, the non-profit organisation also contributes to the arts.
At the core of RADA’s healing process is the principle that people are entirely responsible for and accountable to themselves. The philosophy behind this thinking is to eliminate social safety nets and instead give people the tools they need to grow themselves.
Since music is so integral to human life and has the power to change lives, upliftment of the musical arts is equally important in RADA’s overall vision and led founder J-P Nobrega to start RADA Unearthed, a division of RADA which supports the musical arts.
Nobrega says,
I believe everybody can identify with a good song. The passion that has gone into this CD is phenomenal and the talent equally so. It’s something to be really proud of. As far as South African talent goes, I believe we are up there with the best of them and I’m hoping that when you pick up the album and listen to the songs, you will feel the passion and love.
With the aim of unearthing new talent, RADA Unearthed gives artists a platform to showcase their talent through a series of initiatives, including the RADA Unearthed Volume One compilation series.
