Lia Elise, born in Cape Town, South Africa, is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter/recording artist who is working in full-time ministry.  She has always known that being a singer was her path to take. She started singing from the age of six and continued to be classically trained until the age of 16.  Lia Elise eventually left traditional school to complete her matric online so she could fully focus on her music as a career.  Performing at multiple events from the age of 14, she has found her niche in Jazz, contemporary ballads and soul. She’s had the opportunity to perform along artists such as Ard Matthews, Zolani Mahola and GoodLuck.  Furthermore, Lia was also interviewed by Ryan O’Connor on KFM in 2019, while performing live her version of the popular song ‘September’ by Earth, Wind and Fire.  After finishing school, Lia Elise left for London in 2020 to study a Popular Music Performance degree at BIMM London, where she completed her first semester. COVID-19 interrupted her studies and she returned to South Africa to start over.

She is currently completing her Psychology degree in Cape Town and working on her music career.   Following her debut single ‘Same Old Story’ in June 2022, Lia Elise embarks on her next musical endeavor with the release of ‘I Will Sing’, made possible by collaborating with RADA.
